§ 33-151.17. Transportation or allowance of transportation of vehicle carrying hazardous materials on publicly maintained route.

(a)

A person, driver, owner, carrier, lessee, or lesser shall not transport or allow to be transported a vehicle carrying hazardous materials in an amount required to be placarded under title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations on a publicly maintained route as identified on the national hazardous materials route registry as determined by the United States Department of Transportation under title 49 CFR.

(b)

The penalty for violating this section shall be as prescribed in section 33-151.10.
